Hi David,
This is interesting stuff. Are you familiar with the Situationists and psychogeography?
I have know the 17th and Mission area since the mid-1970s, back when Harris’ Town Pump (which we used to call the Town Dump because it was such a total dive) was still there on the corner. Otherwise it was much the same, except that some of the drugs have changed.
